What a month it’s been! Following our spectacular Grand Opening Celebration in May, where more than 3,000 guests joined us for an unforgettable day of farm-fresh fun, live music, and community connection, the Carnes Crossroads Agrihood has officially bloomed into life. The anticipation is over, the ribbon has been cut, and every amenity is ready to welcome our residents.
Fresh Adventures at our Working Farm, You-Pick Garden, and Children’s Learning Garden
At the center of it all stands our organically managed working farm, under the expert care of Agrihood Director Christopher Burtt and his dedicated team. Here, residents can harvest over 24 varieties of fruits and vegetables growing throughout the year, from sweet potatoes and beets to muscadines and more.
Next, step into our You-Pick Garden to fill your basket with freshness. The garden is the best place to gather herbs, fruits, vegetables, and other edible plants directly from the source.
Over in our Children’s Learning Garden, we’re teaching the next generation of gardeners how to plant, grow, and harvest on their own, with confidence. This interactive educational space helps nurture curiosity, responsibility, and a lifelong appreciation for the natural world.
Farm-Fresh Treasures Right in Your Backyard
The Farm Store brings local goodness to your doorstep with handmade candles, artisanal cheeses, honey, and seasonal preserves. Open to both residents and the general public, this cozy retail space serves as the pickup location for residents’ farm share bounty while offering everyone the chance to stock their pantry with authentic, locally-sourced treasures.
Summers are Cool at the Pool
Aquatic excitement has officially arrived. Our resort-style pool features multiple depths, a zero-entry section, and shaded lounge seating perfect for lazy afternoons. The real showstopper? The Perch Waterslide Tower — a three-story, triple-turn thrill ride that delivers an adventure that makes a big splash.
A Healthier You Lives Here: The Wellness Center
Spanning over 2,000 square feet, our state-of-the-art Wellness Center combines cardio and strength equipment with a spacious 1,226 square foot exercise studio. Staffed with top fitness instructors and designed to support every fitness journey, this facility makes healthy living as convenient as stepping outside your front door.
It’s neighbor vs. neighbor on our newly opened sports courts! With two pickleball courts, two tennis courts, and two half-court basketball courts, friendly competition has found its perfect home. Don’t worry about equipment, as our free Lending Locker has everything you need for an impromptu match. Game on.
