We’re looking back at a few incredible days at Carnes Crossroads, this past May, our Agrihood grand opening was more than just a series of events—it marked the beginning of a vibrant new chapter rooted in healthy living, community connection, and sustainable design. Across the celebration, neighbors came together to mark the debut of our working farm and community amenities, experiencing firsthand the vision behind our Agrihood lifestyle.
The event featured guided farm tours, hands-on planting experiences, fresh seasonal food, and countless opportunities for neighbors to connect. But the most powerful moments came from the people—residents and partners—who shared what this place truly means to them.
Carmen Eldridge, one of the voices behind the Agrihood’s creation, shared her heartfelt perspective:
“What makes the Agrihood concept so special is that you get to see how food is grown. You get to meet your farmer. You get to meet your neighbors and build communities, swap recipes—and to me, that’s such an incredible concept.”
