Meet Kimba: The Third Quarter Top Dog of Carnes Crossroads

The votes are in and Kimba has been named the Top Dog of Carnes Crossroads for the third quarter! This adorable one-year-old Labrador retriever loves living in our community. We talked to Kimba’s owner to find out more about this photogenic furry friend:
How did Kimba come to join your family?
Kimba came to us from Jefferson, Georgia when he was nine months old. His first owners loved him very much but were unable to keep him because they traveled too often for work.
When did Kimba come to be a dog of Carnes Crossroads?
Kimba has been here with us at Carnes Crossroads since July 2017. Although its only been three months, it feels like we have loved him forever.
What are some of Kimba’s favorite ways to spend time at Carnes Crossroads?
Kimba really enjoys his daily walks around the neighborhood trails.
What do you like about having a dog at Carnes Crossroads?
This is truly the best community in which to raise a furry loved one. He greets our neighbors and receives lots of hugs. He also is a great walking companion and keeps us fit and active.
What is Kimba’s favorite treat, toy or game?
Kimba loves playing fetch in our backyard or just sitting and enjoying the warm sun. Most of all he looks forward to anyone walking by so he can greet them with doggie hugs and kisses. He has never met a stranger.

This community has so many wonderful loving dogs and we always look forward to seeing their photos on the Carnes Crossroads Facebook page – everyone should just keep up the good work!
How will Kimba celebrate being selected this season’s Dog of Carnes Crossroads?
He will use the gift card to get his favorite chew treats (all-natural “Bully Sticks”) and a new “Chuck it” ball!
