Events For All at Carnes Crossroads

With an excellent and convenient location within Summerville and Goose Creek and a charming small-town setting, Carnes Crossroads is becoming a destination for a growing array of special events, from a summer Farmer’s Market, summer concert and yoga classes at the Green Barn, all open to the  . Here’s a look at the special events coming to Carnes Crossroads in upcoming months:

COMMUNITY-WIDE EVENTS

The historic Green Barn is an excellent venue for all kinds of special events, and the community is proud to play host to the following “open to all” upcoming events:

Farmers’ Market at the Green Barn 
Starting May 4th
Local produce, baked goods, crafts and more. The market takes place every Wednesday from 3-6 pm throughout the summer.

Annual Street Party
May 15
Carnes Crossroads Real Estate throws this annual festival on the Village Green, featuring food trucks, games, jump castles, music, entertainment and much more. Open to all from 1-4 pm.

Goose Creek Summer Concert Series
May 20
The city’s Summer Concert Series will come to the Green Barn for a free evening of live music from 5-9 pm. Bring your blankets and chairs!

RESIDENT EVENTS

The staff at the Property Owners’ Association works with Carnes Crossroads residents to organize and produce events and programming based on resident interest. Typically these events are open exclusively to residents and their guests. Current resident programming includes:

“First Friday” Happy Hours
Monthly resident mixers take place at a rotating location.

Bunco Night
Residents gather monthly for this fun and friendly game.

Easter Egg Hunt
The first community Easter Egg Hunt will take place this spring.

Water Aerobics
Classes are scheduled to start this summer at the neighborhood pool.

Fall Hoedown at the Green Barn
Square dancing and fall-themed activities for families.
