MUSC Health Carnes Crossroads is Now Open!

The newest Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) medical office building in the Lowcountry celebrated its grand opening at Carnes Crossroads on June 23rd. The 10,000 square foot facility is located at 2000 1st Avenue, right across from the Green Barn.
MUSC Health Carnes Crossroads offers residents of Carnes Crossroads and the greater Summerville community convenient access to primary care and women’s health care. An array of services, including internal and family medicine; X-ray, ultrasound and conventional radiology; as well as family planning, pregnancy care and comprehensive gynecologic care will all be available to patients at this new location. The facility brings the latest advances in medicine, access to more than 700 specialists, and MUSC’s groundbreaking research and technology directly to our growing community.
“It’s all about providing access to MUSC primary care and women’s health services to residents in this fast growing area,” said Sarah Lynch, MUSC Business Development and Operations Manager. “You don’t have to go downtown to find MUSC.
