The Latest News From The Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital Campus at Carnes Crossroads

June 21st, 2019

Last month Carnes Crossroads residents got a preview of what’s in store for Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital when representatives from the hospital came to the Green Barn to share plans and information with the community. The 50-bed hospital is set to open this fall with Grand Opening festivities scheduled for September 22. The hospital will admit its first patients on October 4.

As a community hospital that serves Carnes Crossroads and the surrounding neighborhoods, Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital is an excellent new addition to our community. Administrators are working now to connect with residents to make sure they’re serving the needs of our area, and they’ll continue to do so as the facility gets up and running. They’ll also be offering volunteer opportunities, educational programming and other ways for the public to get involved.

Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital is one of four hospitals within the Roper St. Francis Healthcare system, which has a long-established reputation for quality healthcare service. It’s the only not-for-profit healthcare system in the Lowcountry.
