Beautiful weather, gardens in bloom, countless festivals and events… Spring is one of the most beautiful seasons in Charleston and Summerville. It’s the perfect time to get out, explore and enjoy all the Lowcountry has to offer.

Here at Carnes Crossroads we’re looking forward to two new springtime events from the City of Goose Creek that will take place at the Green Barn: A Leprechaun Bash March 16, and a BBQ & Brews event on April 21. In May, you’ll find us at the weekly Farmers’ Market at the Green Barn, which takes place on Wednesdays May through August. Whether you’re planning a visit to the Lowcountry, or you already call the region home, be sure to check out these springtime events at Carnes Crossroads.

Charleston Food + Wine Festival

Charleston Fashion Week

Charleston Fashion week returns for its 12th year! Enjoy five days filled with breath-taking fashion from local and national brand names. The world’s top women players on the WTA tour compete each spring on Daniel Island in this top-tier tennis event. The island’s beautiful Family Circle Tennis Center is the perfect venue for a week of exciting competition and special events. Flowertown Festival

The YMCA Flowertown Festival is one of the largest arts and crafts festivals in the country and consistently ranks among the top 20 annual events to attend in the Southeast. 41st Annual Cooper River Bridge Run
April 7
Charleston, SC
Register today for the third largest 10K in the country! The scenic race route starts in Mt. Pleasant, crosses the iconic Ravenel Bridge and finishes in the center of historic downtown Charleston. An average of 40,000 people participate every year. This event raises money for 15 wonderful charities through registration donations and fundraising events throughout the year. Spoleto Festival USA & Piccolo Spoleto Festival

The Spoleto Festival is one of the largest performing arts festivals in the United States. For 17 days, renowned and new artists showcase their talents in over 150 opera, dance, theatre, classical music and jazz performances taking place in venues throughout Charleston. Simultaneously, many more events are produced by the City of Charleston as part of Piccolo Spoleto, which focuses on regional artists from throughout the Southeast.
