At Carnes Crossroads, we pride ourselves on being more than just a collection of homes. We define ourselves by our love of gathering together and our deep connection to nature. We’ve laid the groundwork for a future farm and amenities to bloom into something you’ve always dreamed of, and we want to take a moment to walk you through what they’ll mean for the community. Amazing Agrihood

In the spirit of the farm-to-table lifestyle, we wholeheartedly look forward to the upcoming farm share program in our Agrihood. The program will include Carnes Crossroads professional farmers tending to and harvesting fresh produce from our on-site farm. Carnes Crossroads residents will pick up a monthly share of curated local goods at our new barn. Across the country, similar communities, like Arden Agrihood and Miralon Olive Groves, embody the essence of sustainable living and reduce environmental impact by sourcing food locally. Agrihoods provide fresh, locally grown produce and nurture a sense of togetherness and well-being. According to Forbes, people are drawn to Agrihoods because they offer a suburban or exurban lifestyle, while also providing a sense of community, farm features, and a rural environment, though often being located near commercial centers. This trend has been further accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic as homebuyers seek a more spacious and rural living experience. The hands-on farming experiences strengthen bonds among neighbors and foster a deeper connection to our food sources. Our Agrihood’s farm share program will create a holistic and harmonious living environment, reflecting our commitment to a modern, connected, and caring community.

Plenty of Pools, Plus a Water Slide Tower!

Excitement is building at Carnes Crossroads as we are building an expansive, resort-style pool, complete with a thrilling water slide tower. Set to become the centerpiece of our aquatic offerings, this oasis promises hours of family fun and relaxation. The pool’s unique shape and design ensure there’s space for everyone to unwind in style, while the water slide tower adds an exhilarating twist to the experience. Imagine the joy of gliding down the twisting slide and creating cherished moments. The countdown to endless summer enjoyment has begun, and we can’t wait to make a splash together.

There’s more!

We’ve only scratched the surface of what’s around the corner for the Agrihood. Our new amenity space off Carnes Crossing Boulevard will be chock-full of engaging, modern amenities and ways to elevate your days in the community. The Lake House will be the community center at the heart of it all, and a great spot to host birthday parties, family reunions, receptions and community information sessions. Right next door, there will be a state-of-the-art wellness center where you can work out in a vibrant and spacious haven catering to all fitness enthusiasts. An onsite wellness center open to all residents will contribute to that feel-good mentality. There’ll be plenty of space to play outdoors as well, with playgrounds, a large playfield, and courts for tennis, pickleball and basketball. All this overlooks Lake Hewitt, where you can take your boat and paddle to your heart’s content.

So many great things and more are coming to Carnes Crossroads and we can’t wait to show them to you. Each of these new amenities will strengthen our community as an amazing spot for natural living in modern, Lowcountry homes. In the meantime, we’re excited to share these little peeks along the way.
