Friday Night Lights at Carnes Crossroads

The new school for students at Northwood Academy is still under construction at Carnes Crossroads, but that hasn’t kept athletes, students and fans away from their new campus this fall. The home stadium for Northwood Academy at Carnes Crossroads was the place to be on Friday nights when the Chargers took on their opponents at home.
High School football is a long-standing tradition in Summerville and Goose Creek, and on any given Friday in the fall you’ll find students, families and fans cheering on their teams in games across the region. Northwood Academy football is a great addition to Carnes Crossroads, and we’re proud to be home to the Chargers.
It’s hard to believe the season is heading to a close already. The Chargers are having a solid season so far this year, heading into the last game of the regular season with a record of 6-2. They’ll be in the playoffs starting November 6.
